Nom. NOM. Nom.

Loving me some raw crunchy coated avocado fries! So simple, and all the right sweet, salty, cheezy, fatty notes one needs in a fry, without all the starchy potato that makes ya feel bloated and awful. These Avocado Fries just satisfy the Frenchie Fries craving, and leave you feeling light on your feet & fulfilled in you tummy. ♥

Oh, and served with some macadamia mayo that’s been spiked with Betty’s raw fermented Sriracha Sauce, you’ll be seriously going nuts over these!

Recipe:

  • 1 large perfectly ripe avocado
  • 3 TBS ground flax seed
  • 2 TBS nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2-3 big pinches sea salt
  • 1-2 pinches cayenne pepper
  • fresh ground black pepper

Mix together all the dry ingredients in a bowl.

Quarter avocado, then carefully slice into thin strips. Roll the avocado strips in the “fry batter” and lay carefully in the dehydrator. Dehydrate for 30 minutes ~ or so ~ at 115*F. And if you don’t have a dehydrator, they are still really awesome really raw, just coat & eat!

Note: I tried baking them too, just to see how they turned out, but they were SO MUCH BETTER lightly heated in the dehydrator, didn’t care for them at all from the oven.

Dipping Sauce:

  • 3 TBS of Raw Macadamia Mayo, full recipe HERE
  • 1.5 TBS of Raw Sriracha Sauce, recipe HERE

This looks awesome! The link to the raw macadamia nut mayo is gone. Can you remember what else is in it? Nutritional yeast, lemon, apple cider vinegar?

    • Hi Debbie!

For a simple mac mayo, I mix macadamia nuts with enough water to blend, then some lemon juice, garlic & sea salt. Sorry the link no longer goes to my recipe. I will have to fix that!

      Hope you enjoy them!!
