#NoEquipmentRequired
This super easy peasy raw caramel recipe is for all of my friends out there who:
#1 Don’t have any fancy kitchen equipment. This recipe requires just a pot & a spoon!
#2 Want to have a simple raw energy snack that takes just a couple minutes to make
#3 Love a snack that travels well.
#4 Love good food, and Love when eating it makes you feel awesome!!
3 Minute Caramel Sauce Recipe:
- 2 Tablespoons melted coconut oil
- 2 Tablespoons raw almond butter
- 2 Tablespoons maple syrup** (or coconut nectar, honey, etc)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- tiny pinch sea salt
- 2 fresh Apples
**I kinda debated whether it should be 1 or 2 Tablespoons sweetener – I suggest you add one heaping spoonful, then taste test, and add more if you please! I have a total sweet tooth myself!! Give me 2 scoops baby!
Gently melt coconut oil over very low heat, and remove from heat once it has melted. (You can also use a double boiler, food dehydrator, or set the coconut oil in the sunlight on a hot day).
Stir almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla & sea salt into coconut oil to create the caramel sauce.
Slice apples and dip into caramel sauce. Or get fancy and use a spiralizer to make noodles, and a simple dish of “apple pie pasta!” You can top with almonds, dried coconut, raisins, or whatever you please. Enjoy!!
Take this snack on the road, just pack the caramel into a little mason jar or tupperwear container, and slice up some apples to travel in another container.
Amazing!
Your awesome!
